  • Beskrivelse: A documentary film from the Jičín Region and from Prachovské skály (The Prachovské Rocks). The first part of the film is making its viewers familiar with the close vicinity of the town (the Trosky Castle, the Tábor Mountain, volcanoes in the neighbourhood, Bradlo, Loreta, St. Ann, Žebín, Velíš, Jičín) and its sights (churches, fortification, chateau, the Jesuit's College, letohrádek (summer palace), ....). The film also documents the town hustle and bustle, its streets with pedestrians, shops, as well as the festival attended by military, Sokol members and representatives of various guilds (butchers, ...). The film shot offering a view of the local quarter of the poor is followed by shots presenting school and theatre buildings. We can see spa, hospital, financial and other authorities, as well as factories necessary for a modern town. The second part of the film introduces its viewers Prachovské skály (The Prachovské Rocks), various cultural and natural sights of the region (the Humprecht Chateau, the Trosky Castle, Císařská chodba, Babinec, Hrib, staircase in sandstone rocks), and it documents the local tourist traffic.
