Descrizione: Documentary on the progress made since WWII for the reconstruction of the port and the city of Hamburg. After the war, unemployment and the housing shortage, the city dwellers find work in the shipyards. The city is gradually reopening to the rest of the world and developing new international markets such as publishing, haute couture, television and cinema.
