  • Descrizione: Bourgeois Gioula has inherited a steelworks factory, but has no idea about the problems it faces. Spoilt and bored, she prefers partying to dealing with the factory, which is run by Alexis. He is crazy about her, but she likes Tasos, a workers’ representative. Tasos is engaged to Mina, a colleague at the factory and initially resists Gioula’s flirtation. However, in order to keep his sister’s fiancé from emigrating, he gets involved with Gioula after all. This creates a conflict between him and his old friends, who see him as his boss’s lap-dog. After he leaves Mina, who is now pregnant and she marries Tasos’ childhood friend. Eventually, Tasos finds out that Gioula is a drug addict and that her husband hasn’t died after all.
